Sumter Today: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Comes to Patriot Park

Powerful words of empathy, hope, and remembrance were said this past Saturday morning in Patriot Park. The South Carolina chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention held its inaugural in-person Out of the Darkness Walk after last year's attempt had to go virtual. Attendee's lapped the park twice to fundraise and bring awareness to the issue.
Sumter Today is presented by Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, University of South Carolina Sumter, and Sumter Opera House.
