Sumterite Geraldine Singleton seeks donations for upcoming Thanksgiving dinner giveaway

As many residents know, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without Geraldine Singleton's Thanksgiving dinners.

With the holiday fast approaching, she is seeking donations to help get it done and make it possible.

Monetary donations are preferred, as they let Singleton shop for needed items and ingredients, but she also welcomes donations of delicious dishes to serve to community members.

Dinners will be served on Saturday, Nov. 21. To reserve a plate, donate or volunteer to deliver plates, call Singleton at (803) 775-2047 or (757) 234-1432.
