Theresa Ann McCray Gaters, 62, wife of Robert Gaters Sr., was born on Jan. 28, 1961, in Sumter, a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Davis Clea. She departed this life on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at Broward Health Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Public viewing was held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Job's Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150. Interment will follow in High Hills AME Church Cemetery, Dalzell, SC 29040.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
