WALTER NATHANIEL BENNETT JR.

MANNING - Walter Nathaniel Bennett Jr., 74, husband of Mable Blanding Bennett, died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at MUSC, Charleston.

He was born on May 18, 1949, in Manning, a son of the late Walter N. Sr. and Rovena Witherspoon Bennett.

Wake services and Masonic Rites will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Weldon Auditorium, 7 Maple St., Manning. Burial will follow in the Muldrow Cemetery, Manning.

The family is receiving friends at his residence, 1117 Blossom St., Manning. Masks are required.
