WENDELL ROSE

Wendell Rose, 43, son of Carrie Rita Mae Green Rose and the late Alfred John Rose, was born on April 8, 1981, in Sumter County. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, in Sumter.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Alonza A. Washington, officiating.

Interment will follow in Ruby M. B. Simon Family Cemetery, Gable.

Family will receive friends at the home, 311 Mooneyham Road, Sumter.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
