Wilson-Chestnut

Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson Jr. of Manning announce the engagement of their daughter, Celia Burgess Wilson of Manning, to Mr. Hunter Tyson Chestnut of Conway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tyson Chestnut Jr. of Conway.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Edward Guy Gibbons and the late Mr. Gibbons and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Joe Wilson, all of Manning. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She is employed by Southern Lakes Therapy in Manning.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Waylon Arnold Johnson of Aynor and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tyson Chestnut of Conway. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Francis Marion University with a Master of Science in Nursing. He is employed by Loris McLeod Hospital.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 23, 2021, at New Harmony Presbyterian Church in Alcolu.
