You may apply for up to three wood duck boxes, though SCDNR reserves the right to reduce this number at its discretion.
The cost per box is $50 and will be charged automatically to winning applications at the time the lottery is finalized.
The decision to charge a fee for boxes was necessitated by escalating costs for materials and box construction. This change was approved by the Waterfowl Advisory Committee and will result in more waterfowl permit funds allocated to waterfowl habitat projects on public lands in South Carolina.
You must provide a stored payment method on your application profile in order to apply.
The duck boxes will come with the predator guard, but you must supply the post and mounting hardware (available at a local hardware store).
