Cast your line, chum your bait and give it all you've got at Sumter County Sheriff's Office's Youth Fishing Challenge.
Youth are encouraged to participate in the challenge, happening Saturday, June 27, at Pack's Landing, 9890 Packs Landing Road in Pinewood. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Categories to compete in will be biggest bass, biggest bream, biggest shell cracker, biggest overall and most fish.
Lt. Mike McCoy with the sheriff's office said registration will take place the morning of the event.
The safety briefing will begin at 7:30 a.m. and weigh-in at noon.
