Public reminded of Sumter Singleton's clothing giveaway on Aug. 29

If the weather permits, Geraldine Singleton will host a clothing giveaway this Saturday, Aug. 29.

After postponing due to the potential rain last Saturday, Singleton wants to remind the public that the free clothing giveaway will begin at 7 a.m. at 101 N. Wise Drive.

She also encouraged any who would like to donate to help fund her annual Thanksgiving dinners, where she packs plates with the holiday's traditional entrees and fixings for community members, can also do so.

For more information or to learn how to donate, call Singleton at (803) 775-2047 or (757) 234-1432.
