SCDOT seeks public input on a proposed sidewalk project in Sumter County

COLUMBIA - South Carolina Department of Transportation requests public comments on the proposed construction of a new sidewalk along the east side of U.S. 15 (North Lafayette Drive) in Sumter County.

The new sidewalk will extend from the existing sidewalk in front of Sumter Police Department to Crosswell Drive.The project will provide a dedicated walking path, improving connectivity for pedestrians in this area. SCDOT encourages members of the public to review the project website and provide questions or comments about potential impacts of the project. All comments received during a project comment period will be reviewed and included in the project record. Individuals who provide comments will receive a response upon request.
