Police have identified a second suspect wanted in connection with the homicide of a 24-year-old Sumter man whose body was found in Lake Marion two weeks ago.

Anthony Dustin Dill, 32, is wanted on charges of being an accessory after the fact of murder, according to Ken Bell, public information officer for the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Dill, whose last known address is on Bell Road in Mayesville, Bell said, is described as being 5-foot-10, weighing 140 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes.

If you see him, do not approach him. Call 911 or the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division at (803) 436-2002, or call CrimeStoppers at (803) 436-2718 or toll-free at 1-888-CRIMESC. You do not have to give your name and could get a cash reward.

Dill is the second person to be identified as a suspect since law enforcement from Sumter, Clarendon and Orangeburg counties have been investigating what they deemed a homicide after the body of Jerry Lamars Johnson, of Pioneer Drive, was found in Lake Marion on April 25. He had been reported missing the day before.

The body was found with a gunshot wound.

Stephen Wayne Stinnette II, 32, of Pinewood Road, was arrested in Richland County on Friday, May 4 on charges of murder.
