Sumter High Class of 1976 celebrates its 50th class reunion

The Bicentennial Sumter High School Class of 1976 held its 50th class reunion Sept. 4-6. This class distinguishes itself as being the largest class to have graduated from Sumter High School, with more than 730 graduates. The reunion festivities included a meet and greet, bowling fun, a formal gala and a worship service. The theme of the reunion," Remembering the Past, Embracing the Present," embodied the sentiment around the occasion. Many friendships were rekindled and numbers exchanged as classmates departed for their trip back home Sunday afternoon.
