Sumter police investigate Sunday night Rast Street bar, grill shooting

Sumter police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening at a Rast Street bar and grill.
At about 6 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to shots fired at Backyard Bar and Grill. Four people suffered various injuries and are being treated at area hospitals, according to Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for Sumter Police Department.
