USARCENT soldiersread stories of victims during the Holocaust Remembrance at Patton Hall on Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter on April 19.  Rabbi Erik Uriarte, rabbi for Tree of Life congregation, says a prayer at the event. The U.S. Congress established Days of Remembrance as the nation’s annual commemoration of the Holocaust. Each year the president of the United States also issues a Presidential Proclamation for the observance.
