The Wilson Hall volleyball program has been about as consistent as they come on the court. Outside of the gym, they're just as reliable. For the 11th year in a row, the team earned this year's AVCA Academic All-American Award.

"I always get excited and feel honored to receive this award because it exemplifies who we are at Wilson Hall," head coach Rip Ripley said. "We are a community that strives to give our students opportunities in multiple avenues of learning, whether in the classroom, athletic fields, arts, service, etc. The AVCA does a great job recognizing programs who are excelling on the court and in the classroom, and Wilson Hall is a great place to achieve this."

The Lady Barons finished with a cumulative GPA of 4.37 with 17 AP courses and 20 honors classes. In total, 80 of the classes taken received a grade of an A or a B. The team included Addie Griffin, Natalie Hawkey, Mary Todd Champion, Sofia Dall'Erta, Savannah Wells, Beaty Zeigler, Mary Paisley Geddings, Ellis Coker, Bailey Flemming, Kira Stelle, McKinley Bath and Isabella Quiroz. Coaches were Ripley, Erin Trueblood, Camryn Bateman, Dane Griffin, Campbell Bauman and Mary Peyton Clepper.
