ANNE SULLIVAN HAYNIE

Anne Sullivan Haynie, 90, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Sumter, South Carolina, and wife of the late Dr. William Ransom Haynie II, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.

Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Haynie Cheatham, and her husband, Deck Cheatham, of Monteagle, Tennessee; her son, Mayor James William Haynie, and his wife, Suzette Combs Haynie, of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Josie Holler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall.

Private burial will be in Anderson, S.C.
