BOBBIE E. GOFF

Funeral services for Mr. Bobbie Eugene Goff, 82, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the St. Andrew Church of God. The Rev. Mike Parnell and the Rev. Scott Hodge will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mr. Goff, the widower of Martha Frances Harris Goff, entered into rest on Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was a member of St. Andrew Church of God where he served as a caretaker for 33 years. He retired from DuPont after 25 years of service. Mr. Goff enjoyed gardening, fishing, and making sure others needs were met.

Surviving are his sons, Ronnie (Michelle) Goff of Hartsville and Robbie "Clyde" (Jessica Hinson) Goff of Sumter; daughter, Angie (Charles) Effler of Sumter; brother, David Edward Humphries; sisters, Phyllis Humphries Davis and Myra Humphries Anders; grandchildren, Chuck Effler Kelly Goff, Betty Jean Bala, Cody "Dakota" Goff, Alex Bramlett, Wendy Rupert, Samantha Barlow and Tiffany Barlow; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rena Elizabeth Humphries; stepfather, Rubin Kneely Humphries; and brothers, Rubin Harold Humphries and George Wayne Humphries.
