PINEWOOD - Doris M. Bean, 79, widow of Bobby Call Bean, died on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at her home.

Born on May 9, 1941, in Andrews, she was a daughter of the late William Herbert Taylor and Lizzie Mills Taylor. She was a member of Smithville Pentecostal Church. She was formerly employed at the Holiday Inn at Myrtle Beach.

Survivors include three sons, Curtis Winefeldt and Donald "LaVerne" Winefeldt (Angie), both of Sumter, and Jeffrey Winefeldt (Tammie) of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Robin Cain (Allen) of Turtletown, Tennessee; grandchildren, Airca Sobers (Anthony) of Carlton, Georgia, Courtney Winefeldt and Michael Winefeldt, both of Sumter, Brittney Eberle (Leland) of Bishopville, Jeffrey Tate Winefeldt, Toby Winefeldt and Tara Jayn Winefeldt, all of Columbus, and Roni Preusser and Rachel Lee; great-grandchildren, Aurelia and Adeline Eberle, Nevaeh, Aaron, Aubrey Sobers and Dalton Jensen; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, five brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Smithville Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Smithville Pentecostal Church and other times at the home of LaVerne and Angie Winefeldt, 12 Lawton Circle.
