Incumbent Cousar-Johnson wins Sumter school board Area 4 easily 

Incumbent Tarah Cousar-Johnson won the Sumter school board Area 4 race with 57.75% of the vote over challenger the Rev. Daryl McGhaney, who carried 41.35%.

Area 4 includes the rural eastern portion of Sumter County to include Myrtle Beach Highway and the Mayesville and Shiloh areas.
