INETA GOODMAN

Ineta Goodman, 90, daughter of the late Henry Mack Williams and Elizabeth Goodman McElveen, was born on Jan. 22, 1936, in Sumter. She departed this life on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 355 Pudding Swamp Road, Lynchburg, with the Rev. Corey A. Lasane, pastor and eulogist.

Interment will follow in Goodman Cemetery, Lynchburg.

Family will be receiving friends at the home, 1840 Goodman Road, Lynchburg, daily from 4 to 8 p.m.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
