Latosha Denise McCall, 37, was called from labor to reward on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at the home of her brother.

Born on March 9, 1981, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Coard and Barbara Deloris McCall. She was educated through the public schools of Sumter County. Tasha accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was affiliated with Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories: fathers of her children, Cornelius McCall and Carlton McBride; three sons, Jeremetrius McCall, Jahiem McBride and Omanon Morant, all of Sumter; one daughter, Pershalia Morant of Sumter; brothers and sisters, Anthony Coard, Sheaquana Strasley, Alvin Henry (Miha), Wilhelmina Coard and Joseph Henry (Samantha Nixon); aunt and uncles, Willie McCall Jr. (Jackie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Charles McCall (Mary) of Sumter, Corine McCall and Al Donnie McCall (Teresa) of Dalzell; and a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 16 Franklin St., Sumter.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Bennie Bradley officiating, eulogist.
