MICHAEL R. PIVER

Michael Ray Piver, age 65, died on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Talmadge M. Piver and Florence Holzhauer Piver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed watching the Sharknado movie series. He loved spending time with his family and was always checking in on them. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Surviving are one son, Patrick Piver of Camden; three sisters, Teresa P. Veasey and her husband Chuck of La Plata, Maryland, Crystal P. Reed of Dalzell and Karen R. Piver of Bishopville; one brother, Marion Dale Piver and his wife Lillian of Indianapolis, Indiana; one special niece, Amber Lowder of Sumter; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Melissa Joy Bailey, and brother-in-law, Ernie Reed Jr.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery, Bishopville.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 3 p.m., one hour prior to the service at Bullock Funeral Home.
