SARAH TAYLOR SELF

Sarah “Bobbie” Taylor Self, 89, widow of Harold Dean Self, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at NHC of Sumter.

Born in Rome, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Talyor and Archie Lee Phillips Taylor.

Mrs. Self was retired from Farmers Telephone Cooperative.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Self Snyder (Mark); four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Self.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, in Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Walt Phillips officiating.
